Jesus, I Am So In Love With You

The power of positive thinking is inspiring. The more you dwell on the positive, the brighter things seem. Things don't seem so bad. That is the power of God, to turn darkness into light. Lay down your burdens and all that buries you and overwhelms you. Find rest in Him who has overcome the world.

“Come to me,all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

“God is exalted in his power. Who is a teacher like him?” Job 36:22 (NIV)

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NIV)

Things are improving for me in my situation, and as a result, I too want to encourage and lift up others so they too may learn to focus on the haves and not the have nots.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)

As Thanksgiving and the holidays approach, so many are going through tough times, it's hard not dwell on life's problems. It does take an active and conscious effort to count one's blessings in times of trial and tribulations.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4 (NIV)

For some of us, it's been a very long year – or perhaps even decade. God has been working on many of us teaching us trust, faith and perseverance to mature us, to get us where we need to be to serve Him and that He may receive the glory. As a writer, my words tend to be many, but this time, may my words be few. For God so loved the world…. ( John 3:16-17).

Thank you God (Jesus), for loving us and for never leaving our sides in times of trials and tribulations. May we draw closer to you in all that we do.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (NIV).

Jesus, I am so in love with you.
