Keep It Simply Short

Janis Cox recently posted an article called ‘How Can I K.I.S.S. to Pray?’

She used the acronym K.I.S.S. to remind herself to ‘Keep It Simply Short.’

What? I don’t have to be on my knees for an hour to get God’s attention?

She settled on prayers that were only three words long.

This is a writer’s nightmare. Only three words to tell God everything I need, want, suffer through? However after I removed the fluff from my words……

Prayer- Lord, I love you.  Keep me centered. Open new paths. Encourage my heart. Stand with me. Hold my hand. Keep me safe. Forgive my sin. Help me pray. Show me how. Amen.
