Many a child grows up, wishing that their birth might be cut and pasted into the time frame after their parents’ marriage. Others would like to cut and paste happier times or different outcomes to events.
Sadly our lives are not like this computer where I cut and paste items from one place to another every day.
Whose life could not benefit from cut and paste? We could cut out the nasty words we said to the check-out clerk, or paste forgiveness to a parent and an ‘I love you’ into their life before they died.
Cut and paste is not a life option. That’s why we must live our lives as thoroughly as we can, with as few mistakes as possible. No, cutting and pasting are not possible but worthy current choices are always available to us.
You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? (Galatians 5:7, NIV)
Prayer- Lord, give us the grace to walk in your way so that regrets are not part of our history.
