Light Up The Sky

The Christian music group, The Afters, have recorded a very unique song called Light Up The Sky. As we near the holiday season, I wanted to share it with those of you who may have never heard it before. We are living in a time when many of us are facing trials and tribulations. Each one has a story to tell. The sad part is, for the majority, the only One who will hear that story is God. Many think they are alone, but God is with them. He sees. He knows. He loves.

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)

Whatever trial or circumstance you may be going through, know this. God loves you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Take comfort that He above all has overcome the world. Let Him light up your sky.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:5 (NIV)

But everything exposed by the light becomes visible  —  and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. (Ephesians 5:13) (NIV)

Let Him open your eyes so that you may see when things seem unbearable, He is with you. He will comfort you. He will guide you. Walk in the light and let Him walk with you.

Light Up The Sky By The Afters
