Living Like Christ

Perhaps you asked Jesus into your life some time ago, but like Moses, you’ve changed dwellings, locations, or mindsets

Moses knew he was a Hebrew, even though he eventually became the son of Pharaoh’s daughter and lived in a palace. (Exodus 2) From then on, in spite of his Hebrew upbringing, he lived as an Egyptian.

Then Pharaoh’s daughter … saw the basket among the reeds and sent her female slave to get it. She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. “This is one of the Hebrew babies,” she said.

Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you.” So the woman took the baby and nursed him. When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses saying, “I drew him out of the water.”(From Exodus 2)

Sometimes we find ourselves living like the world around us instead of like children of the living God.

Where are you wandering now? It is time to find your true path with Christ.

Prayer- Lord, give us the courage to live as who we really are in you. Amen.
