The TV hosts of What Not to Wear take people out of their everyday, mundane clothing and dress them to their advantage. The ‘made-over’ doesn’t even look or act the same after they dress for success.
God has his own dress-for-success ideas.
…put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. (Ephesians 4:24, NIV)
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. (Ephesians 6:13, NIV)
Prayer- Lord, help us also put on faith and love as a breastplate and the hope of salvation as a helmet. (1 Thessalonians 5:8) For Christ who died so that he might dress us for success in Him. Amen.
