When I zoomed past the local school, another policeman appeared out of nowhere. As he wrote me a speeding ticket, I said to him, “You don’t understand. I am not the type to get traffic tickets.”
Then I looked over to my passenger seat, where lay my other ticket.

Romans 3:24: yet now God declares us “not guilty” of offending him if we trust in Jesus Christ who in his kindness freely takes away our sins. (LB)
Perhaps we might open our hearts a little and pray for those people who pain the world with their behaviour. Oh, that Christ might make a difference in their lives as He has in ours.
Prayer: Lord, we praise Your name because of what You have done for us. Give us the grace to pray for people whose lives You would change, if they only knew you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
