One Thought or Another

“The problem with pain is that nobody wants it.” – Lynne Phipps

What if you treated yourself like someone you loved?

Pain and grief doesn’t necessarily go away. It’s just different.

“The deeper the love the greater the loss, I believe—but would we want to trade that pain off for poor love for many years? I really doubt it for you and I know it for me…” – Brenda J. Wood

“There is but a step between life and death.” – Unknown

“If you can afford a coffee you can afford to give one away.” – Unknown

We say, “I guess the only thing left to do is pray about it.” When it should be the first thing we do.

What are your thoughts? No matter what, they shouldn’t be this kind.

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. (Psalm 139:23, NIV)

Prayer – Lord, when our thoughts are the wrong kinds… give us a push in the right direction… Amen
