I just discovered that I don’t really own the content of my blog. Apparently, if something happens to me those words meant for family and friends, will disappear. They simply bite the dust.
Violet Nesdoly offers this simple advice:
“I subscribe to each of my blogs and get an email when they post. I then save those emails and so have all those blog posts saved in my Mail account. It's another way to save posts on a day-to-day basis.”
I do that now but this is what happens. I write these devotionals for you but when I get the email copy, the words seem to be meant for me. The words almost always seem to grab my heart, not because I’m a great writer, but because God uses scripture to change all of us, even the writer! I’d love to hear about your experiences in this area.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, impenetrable] Rock and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14, AMP)
Prayer: Lord, may everyone of our own words convict us! In Christ. Amen.
