Pray for Leaders

Why pray for our leaders? Did you see the answers in yesterday’s scripture? 

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 

This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. (1Timothy 2:1-4, NIV)

When we pray for our leaders?

1. We get to live peaceful and quiet lives.

2. Our peaceful, quiet lives are full of godliness and holiness.

3. This is good.

4. This pleases God our Saviour.

5. BECAUSE God wants ALL PEOPLE to be saved.

6. AND come to a knowledge of the truth!

Let’s remember to pray for our leaders, because it is good for them and for us too!
