Prayer Notes

Did you know that the Bible says:

Pray continuously. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, NIV)

Pray in every situation with thanksgiving. (Philippians 4:6, NIV)

Pray with God and he will listen to us. (Jeremiah 29:12, NIV)

Pray in faith. (Romans 12:12, NIV)

Pray; and keep it short and sweet. (Matthew 6:7, NIV)

Prayer by a righteous person is powerful and effective. (James 5:16, NIV)

God answers prayer. (Psalm 66:19, NIV)

God will teach us to pray. (Luke 11:1, NIV)

So the question for us must be his. Do we pray at all, let alone with these actions in mind? Start here.

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3, NIV)

Prayer- Lord, you only give the best advice. Give us the gumption to act on it. Amen.
