Lord, help me to see the people I work with through your eyes—fearfully and wonderfully made children of the King. Some may not know their true birthright and for those I ask that you begin to open their minds and hearts to your love message—the Gospel. Help me, God, to honestly love them as brothers or sisters, fathers or mothers. May I see their needs before my very own. Help me to treat them as you would—with love, compassion and truth. I lift them up to you today and ask that you be their God. Help them to turn away from anything that is separating them from the relationship you want to have with them right now. May the love you have for them be fully revealed.
Help me and the others that you have called to be light draw closer to you God and trust you in everything. Help us to truly die to self today and pick up our crosses and follow you. Wash away the fears, pride, and selfishness that inhibit us from lovingly and honestly sharing Your Word. And God, help me to remember that this is Your Kingdom, not mine and that my deepest desire is that Your will be done. May I see myself as Your servant, called by grace, and may I feel Your pleasure in serving You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
