Our family picks our own special favorites at Pine Farms Orchard. It’s only a short drive and we generally stay for coffee and an apple dessert from the little shop. I don’t know how many varieties of apples they grow at Pine Farms, but there are about 50 kinds of apples produced in Ontario.
I know God must appreciate apples for they are often mentioned in the Bible. Perhaps that’s the reason for the saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away!”
