Hebrews 4:12– For the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and narrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (NKJV).
My Chronological Study Bible arrived this week. This medium-sized, easy-to-read-print Bible is full of cultural information, time capsules and the explanations of difficult subjects.
It’s a joy to use. Imagine the Psalms sprinkled throughout the Old Testament or the Gospels intermingled and printed in order of happening events.
Scholars like it because it eliminates many other study books, but I appreciate it because it’s shaken up my mornings! The Word is alive to me again and it will continue to be so as long as I use it!
Do we have a Bible? Do we read it? Do we let it change us? Did you answer yes?
Prayer: Lord, whatever Bible version we use, remind us to read it Shake us up to your truth. Amen.
What chronological Bible do you have? I’ve read the Bible in it’s chronological order but I was just following a study guide.
