Picture squash, zucchini, or beets in long strings like spaghetti. Yes, the newest fad is spiralized food. You can even find a gadget to spiralize the stuff for you.
I tried the butternut squash; quite tasty actually. I caution you though, if you find long strands of pasta difficult to eat, you will find ginormous strands of veggies even worse. If you are alone and eating it; no problem. Entertaining a crowd; I suggest cutting in little bits.
Life is easier to handle that way too, not in long strands but in little bits. One bite at a time, one day at a time and we can make headway without falling apart.
Our lives are just like that stranded squash. They spiral out of control when we don’t trust God to get us through our mess.
Since they didn’t bother to acknowledge God, God quit bothering them and let them run loose. And then all hell broke loose. And it’s not as if they don’t know better. They know perfectly well they’re spitting in God’s face. Those people are on a dark spiral downward.) (From Romans 1:28-32, Romans 2:1, MSG)
Prayer- Lord, right this minute some of us are on the twisty spiral of life. Haul us back to your way of doing things…one bit at a time. Amen.
