Starting a New Year

January 1st is a great time to start keeping a journal. I began journaling back in the 1970’s. It is never too late to write an account of what is going on in our lives.  Our personal history will give our children more satisfaction than any dollared fortune.

Some day our family will treasure those words. And there is nothing better than recording our personal journey with Christ. What a legacy for our family. They will read how we overcame the most challenging circumstances with God’s encouragement and strength. Some may even choose him for themselves.

Acts 14:27-On arrival, they got the church together and reported on their trip, telling in detail how God had used them to throw the door of faith wide open so people of all nations could come streaming in (MSG).

You still have time to pop out to the store and choose the right volume. Then you can begin your scribbles in a new book, on the first day of the New Year.

Prayer: Lord let us be like your people of old who told everyone what God had accomplished through them. Amen (From Acts 14:4-AMP).
