Step by Step

Maybe this 30 day walk out of bondage hasn’t gone quite as we expected, so let’s put it in perspective.

Did you know that huge ocean going vessels like the Queen Elizabeth, only move six inches for every gallon of diesel fuel that they burn? None of them stop half way across the ocean, bemoaning their failure.  Their captains don’t get discouraged or consider giving up.

Our  Captain, the Lord Jesus Christ urges us to keep going, be obedient, no matter what.

They were trying to intimidate us into quitting. They thought, “They’ll give up; they’ll never finish it.” I prayed, “Give me strength.” (Nehemiah 6:9, MSG)

Prayer:  Lord, give us a fresh vision of your goal for us and give us renewed courage to get there. Amen
