Haven’t eaten it yet? Poor you! That’s not to say I am an expert. I discovered it only a couple of years ago at The Blue Willow Tea Room in Gravenhurst
Basically, it is a very rich date cake covered with a thick caramel sauce. (It is indescribable really if you haven’t already tried a taste; incredibly sweet, but not too cloying; decadent but not too much so.)
Now you can buy it in many food shops, but do not be fooled by solid texture types. They just aren’t the real thing.
Not one for trying something new? Consider this.
When is the last time you did something for the first time?
Be brave, bite into some and learn to love it…then pay the consequences of a two mile run to keep your weight from escalating. Sorry. I guess I should have mentioned that part before.
Oh, by the way, anything that we stick to is likely dirt…on the other hand when we stick to the Christ, that is a whole different matter. He makes us clean.
