Surge Pricing

There’s a new way of pricing things now. It’s called surge pricing. It might have started with Uber, the new transportation company. When more people than usual need a ride, they raise their prices. They charge more. Some other companies are following suit. Try and buy a play-off game ticket the night before the big event!

Thankfully God never uses surge pricing.

… a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard. … Each received a denarius. … ‘These who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.’ (From Matthew 20, NIV)

Prayer – Thanks God that you have room for all of us, even if we do show up late. Amen
