The Bat, The Bee and the Buzzard

A bat is so nimble in the air, but on the ground, it flops around hopelessly. It needs elevation to give it lift off into the air.

The bee, stuck in a mug, cannot see the opening at the top and lies there till it dies. It keeps looking for the way out through the bottom.

The buzzard needs a run of several feet before it can take off into flight. Without space, it will stay in an open pen, not even trying to escape.

All of them need to look up for the way out.

Are you either of these? Are you penned up with no way out? Have you tried looking up to the one and only who can help you?

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:1-2)

Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:28)

But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. I cried aloud to the Lord, and he answered me. (Psalm 3:3-4)

What if I fall? But darling, what if you soar? Look up friends. Look up.
