My friend Marilyn loves and collects elephants. She recently sent me a necklace with an elephant in joyful stance, that is, trunk up!
Her note said,
Dear Brenda,
“I can send you this for I found more elephants in the herd! Did you know that elephants love one another, and comfort one another? They work hard, never complain and accomplish much. Though they are huge, they never bully. In fact, they use their strength to achieve.
I hope this little elephant buddy with bring you joy and luck and inspiration!”
Love Marilyn
Just think of those attributes in the life of you and me.
What if we loved one another?
(John 13:34-35)
Comforted one another?
(2 Corinthians 1:6)
Worked hard?
(Colossians 3:23)
Stopped complaining
(Habakkuk 2:1)
Accomplished much.
(Revelation 17:17)
What if we didn’t use our personal power to bully others?
(Matthew 18:6-7)
What if our strength was used for good and not evil?
(Isaiah 40:29)
What if we lived like elephants? Think of the good we could do in the world.
