The In Between

Sometimes to get from where we are to where we are going, we have to be willing to be in between. (Unknown)

Are you in the in betweens now? If you have little children there is a very long in between to get them to stand on their own two feet in their own house.

What if you have a lot of weight to lose? There is a lot of in between from the first day on the scale till you reach your goal.

God has lots of in betweens as well, forgiveness for example. (Matthew 6:14-15, MSG)

And because of what Christ did for us there are no more barriers between heaven and earth. (Matthew 6:19b, MSG)

And best of all…

With God on our side like this, how can we lose? Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture: They kill us in cold blood because they hate you. We’re sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one. None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. Thank God for his in between, Jesus!

Prayer-Lord we cannot begin to comprehend it but we love it and are eternally grateful for the Christ who died for our sins and was raised from the dead and lives even now, for us. Amen.
