The line in the bank moved quickly because one young fellow repeatedly gave up his turn to the next person waiting for a bank teller. He finally told us that one teller was his brother and therefore was not allowed to serve him.
Jesus has no such qualms. He helps us for that very reason. He is closer to us than a brother.
Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you like family. (Proverbs 18:24, MSG)
Prayer- Lord, thank you for showing us through our everyday lives, that you indeed are more than just our Savior. You are also our close friend. Amen.
