But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13b-14)
Paul aimed for just one thing; He forgot the past and maybe the past where he had failed some. And he aimed to be like Christ.
Some of us do that backwards; we dwell too much on our past failures and not enough on our future with Christ.
Let’s say goodbye to all those things that ail our future and instead aim for a brighter future.
Some of these new things might frighten us some, but we have Christ.! THE CHRIST!
And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (Matthew 18:20)
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
