Time on Our Hands

The thought is that if we waste not, we will never want. Does this apply to time? How do we know what is a waste and what is not? Someone kindly took the time to calculate how we will spend our years.

Time Usage
6 months sitting at stoplights
8 months opening junk mail
12 months looking for stuff
60 months standing in lines
Thoughts
Better than running a light and having accident
Maybe there’s a cheque in there
You know it’s there but… WHERE?
But if I don’t…

So here we are with all this wasted time on our hands. Let’s use it wisely and pray, pray, pray. Just with these few time wasters converted to prayer time, we’ll be praying almost 100 more hours than we are now. That’s a lot of God talk.

Pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17, KJV)

But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.(Acts 6:4, KJV)

Prayer – Thanks God for all the opportunities we have to talk to you. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
