Without my granddaughter’s phone (and my granddaughter!); I’d have driven quite unaware, through a heavy rain storm and thought nothing much of it.
However my granddaughter kept us updated on the tornado watch. Comments like “Amma, we are in the yellow danger zone!” unnerved me. Once I realized the danger, the burden of getting everyone safely home increased.
Now that we know the blessing of walking with the Christ, it is our calling to help everyone else get home safely.
We’ve been learning about and praying for changes in our own lives. We want to be like Christ. Now that we know the dangers of disobedience, it’s our duty as Christ lovers to make others aware so that they might also be free…
Once people have seen the light, gotten a taste of heaven and been part of the work of the Holy Spirit, once they’ve personally experienced the sheer goodness of God’s Word and the powers breaking in on us—if then they turn their backs on it, washing their hands of the whole thing, well, they can’t start over as if nothing happened. That’s impossible. Hebrews 6:4-6b, MSG)
Prayer- Lord, give us opportunities to share what we’ve learned with others that they too might experience freedom.
