Is this you? Too often it is also me. What is a suffering sinner to do? Why it is as simple as believing what God says.

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. (Luke 15:7, NIV)

We generally see this verse as a salvation one, for those choosing Jesus as their savior for the first time…but I suggest it is also for those of us who stumble in the midst of our salvation.

Let us quickly repent of our foolishness and start over on God’s clean slate.

Prayer- Lord, forgive us for   __________. Thank you that your forgiveness is instant and correct and good. We choose to walk in it. Help us produce fruit in keeping with that repentance. (Matthew 3:8, NIV)  Thank you. Amen.
