We All Fall

Do you remember that children’s game and the last line is—Husha, husha, we all fall down.

Yes, we all fall down. Here is Nehemiah’s recovery prayer which I am sure God won’t mind you using!   

“God, God-of-Heaven, the great and awesome God, loyal to his covenant and faithful to those who love him and obey his commands: Look at me, listen to me. 

Pay attention to this prayer of your servant that I’m praying day and night in intercession for your servants … And I’m including myself … among those who have sinned against you.

 “We’ve treated you like dirt: We haven’t done what you told us, haven’t followed your commands, (From Nehemiah 5-7, MSG) 

Prayer- Lord, forgive us and give us the courage and grace to try and try and try again until we get it right. Amen.
