Luke 10:40-42– But _____________________ [overly occupied and too busy] was distracted with much serving; and ____________ came up to Him and said“Lord is it nothing to you that my sister has left me, _________________ to serve alone? Tell her then to help me, [to lend a hand and do her part along with me].” But the Lord replied by saying ___________, _____________, you are anxious and troubled about many things; There is need of only one or but a few things. Mary has chosen the good portion [that which is to her advantage] which shall not be taken away from her (AMP).
After our name is in the blank spots, let’s ask ourselves:
1. Are we too busy? 2. Do we doubt our relationship with Christ? 3. Who is our Mary? 4. How is our resentment showing? 5. What do our prayers sound like? 6. What can we give up so that our to-do-list becomes shorter? 7. What changes will make us fruitful and not just busy?
Prayer: Lord, we choose to take our eye off the other guy and walk the walk you ordained for us. In Jesus’ name. Amen
