I wrote “God, Gluttony & You” in 1989 and then led the Bible study for many years. However, I got busy writing other books and gradually, G, G& Y slipped to the back burners.
And then, just recently, someone wanted to interview me about it. All of a sudden, G, G & Y was back in the limelight. It’s now starring on Amazon and Smashwords and available in book stores. Who knew?
Maybe there is something in your life that has suffered the same fate. Circumstances shoved a relationship, a creative work, a child, a career onto the back burner. Don’t wait. Search out, find the lost, the displaced, and the set asides of your life and let God bring them to life again.
The Bible lists 130 examples of restoration. God loves to restore.
What man of you, if he has a hundred sheep and should lose one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness (desert) and go after the one that is lost until he finds it? (Luke 15:4, AMP)
Prayer – God, when we think all is said and done, the past is finished, the times are gone, remind us that you are the restorer of all things and you can restore ours. Amen
