Who’s the Judge?

Have you ever been in-cahoots, in-cognito or in-flexible? Who hasn’t? What about in-capable, or in-doubt?

We love to voice our opinion of Biblical characters that hung out with the wrong people, (Sapphira in Acts 5), hid when they shouldn’t have (Gideon in Judges 6) or refused to compromise even a bit! (Paul in Acts 15)

What about the incapable Pilate in Matthew 27? And we barely tolerate poor in doubt Thomas. (John 20)

It’s easy enough to judge when all’s said and done. It’s quite another thing to see ourselves as the world sees us…maybe even like one of those Bible characters.

Do not judge and criticize and condemn others, so that you may not be judged and criticized and condemned yourselves. (Matthew 7:1, AMP)

Prayer- Father God, forgive us our unkind and maybe even untrue thoughts and opinions. For Christ. Amen.
