Country Star Offers Free Music Download for Nashville Flood Relief

John Rich, of the Country music duo Big and Rich,  got tired of not hearing about the recent flood disaster in Tennessee in the national media, so he decided to do something about it.

As he said in an interview with Rush Limbaugh, “I thought, what can I do? I’m a country music artist, and Nashville means a lot to me. I’ll write a song about it.”

The song is called “Lend a Hand” and is a gospel-style anthem asking for help for Nashville in their time of need. It’s a free download on John Rich’s website, where he encourages donations of any amount to help in the relief effort.

As he said in the interview, most folks in Nashville aren’t looking for a hand out, but would love a hand up from fellow Americans.

If you’re interested in helping, head to JohnRich.com to get your free music download and donate to help Nashville rebuild.
