Carving out time for a daily devotional or Bible reading can be a challenge on a busy day. Of course, like many things in life, it’s a matter of priority. Can you give 10 to 15 minutes of your day to Scripture and prayer?
While everyone has a different answer to this – including the popular, “I know I should, but…” – students at a South Carolina college recently took reading the Bible to a whole new level.
Last week at Columbia International University, students took turns reading the Bible aloud around the clock for five straight days in shifts. Granted the school is an evangelical Bible college, so this exercise may not come as a complete surprise.
It is, however, a reminder that the Bible is there for us 24/7, even if we’re not engaging with it.
