Amazing Words

The Bible is so amazing.

It’s a collection of 66 books written by 40 different people over 1500 years.

It was written in three different languages and on three different continents!

All the books share a common theme. God loves us. 

He offers salvation to those who repent, ask Jesus into their lives, and commit to following God wholeheartedly.

But here is the biggie! There are no historical mistakes or contradictions throughout all of Scripture. How is this possible? It is possible because the Bible is God-inspired.

The Word that God speaks is alive and full of power, making it active, operative, energizing, and effective. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating the dividing line between the breath of life and the immortal spirit. It penetrates even the deepest parts of our nature. It exposes and sifts and analyzes and judges the very thoughts and purposes of our heart. (From Hebrews 4:12)
