Count on It

One thing we can always count on as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ is peace. John 14:27 states it quite clearly.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27, NIV)

The Amplified Bible explains it this way.

Peace I leave with you;

My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you.

Not as the world gives do I give to you.

Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

[Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed;

and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] 

(John 14:27, AMP)

Prayer- Father God, we dive into the truth right now, claiming victory in the form of peace. For Christ who died to give it. Amen.
