Freely, Freely

Surely you have heard that phrase; share and share alike. That does not mean the other guy shares and you keep what he shares. It means that you share too. Oh yes it does mean that.

Since the dawn of time, human beings have felt the need to share — from food to art. Sharing is part of the human condition. A person who does not share is not only selfish, but bitter and alone.(–Paulo Coelho)

You have something to say, but the world just won’t listen. What’re you doing wrong? Maybe you’re being too stingy. If you have a message to share and no one’s listening, the best thing you could do is give some of it away for free. (Jeff Goins)

Does the thought of sharing frighten you? Ask yourself why that is. What are you afraid of? Why won’t you trust God when he says the following.

Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. (Ephesians 4:28, NIV)

John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”(Luke 3:11, NIV)

Remember the worship song called Freely, Freely by Maranatha Music??  God freely gave us Jesus and our life now is to be one of freely giving.

Prayer- Increase our faith Lord, so that we are able to believe every word you say and then act on it. Amen.
