Galloping Time

Galloping Time

Galloping time, galloping time!
It leaves me , it runs away,
Leaving life without rhyme.
If I spent less time wondering
Where that it went,
I’d send chasers after it, so it might relent.

Do you find that time slips away on you? Me too. Are our To-Do lists just too long: our goals too lofty? Or are we guilty of not planning, or putting off the things we need to do for the things we like to do?

Do we find ways to make our time pass; like interrupting a job to visit or play computer games? What about saying no on occasion; to others (but mostly to ourselves!) Is our space so untidy that we spend more time looking for stuff than doing stuff??

Well now the crunch. What are we going to do about it?

Everything on earth has its own time and its own season. (Ecclesiastes 3:1, CEV)

Prayer – Lord, give us gumption to start somewhere, even if it is as simple as cleaning our desktop. Amen
