Q. Which one of your books is your favorite?
A. My favorite is always the one I am writing. Right now, I am finishing up four.
- When the Hurt Won’t Quit, comfort for the grieving
- How to Live like a Princess, when your life is the pits
- Short & Sweet, devotions for the time-crunched woman
- How to Write a Book, while feeding your family.
Don’t tell the others but I favor the princess one at this point!
Q. What advice do you have for ‘wanna-be’ writers?
A. I’ll share what I say to myself every single day. If you never, ever write, you will never, ever be read. Write something every day, even if it is in your personal journal.
Q. What makes you keep on writing?
A. I work for God. Writing is my gift and therefore my responsibility. I am not alone. Each of us works for God, no matter what other job we have. We are called to be salt and light to a hurting world, no matter what.
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.
