Hope

Since I am both a speaker and a writer I cautiously made these verses my own.

Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. (Proverbs 16:24, NIV)

An honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies. The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment. (Proverbs 12:17-19, NIV)

So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere. (Luke 9:6, NIV)

Likely you are now trying to discover my word without my help. Hint: The word is not ‘word’.
My word is ‘healing’. I am sharing it with you because otherwise your heads will ache from the effort.

Do these verses contain the word healing? No they don’t but they contain promise and hope and those are the words we need to hear from the Lord.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. (Proverbs 13:12, NIV)
