For that matter, how do you see you?
We will never perform differently from the way we see ourselves. I used to tell people that I was a chocoholic, that I ate chocolate at every opportunity, that I couldn’t have it in the house. And that became my truth.
The challenge in our life is to see ourselves the way God sees us. Here are a few of his thoughts about you and on me.
1 Samuel 16:7 -But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
Jeremiah 29:11 -For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
1 John 3:1 -See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so, we are.
1 Peter 2:9 -But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Ephesians 2:10 -For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
2 Corinthians 5:17 -Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Make a list of these wonderful promises and read them daily. GOD LOVES US! WE ARE A SPECIAL PEOPLE! Walk in that truth today.
