How to Share Your Faith

1.We are all sinners. (For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23)

2.There is a penalty for sin. (For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23)

3.Jesus died for all sinners. (God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16)

4.Jesus rose from the dead and is alive right now. (For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.1 Thessalonians 4:14)

5.We as sinners must receive him. (Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. (Revelation 3:20)

6.Ask the person, do you believe all this? Then ask” Do you know how to receive him?”

7.If they say no, ask if they would like you to help them by praying a prayer they could repeat and make their own. Then do so.

Let’s Pray——-Dear Lord Jesus, I do believe that you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross to pay the price for my sin. I believe that you rose from the dead and that you are alive right now. Please come into my life. Forgive my sin. Make me a member of your family. I now turn from going my own way. I want you to be the center of my life.  Thank you for your gift of eternal life and for your Holy Spirit who has come to live in me. Amen
