Recently, one of our stalwart writer/pastors admitted he had a drinking problem. He confessed that it wasn’t the drinking that bothered him so much as his lack of integrity.
He did exactly the right thing.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:8-9, NIV)
So what does your integrity look like?
Integrity – the quality of possessing and steadfastly adhering to high moral principles or professional standards, the state of being complete or undivided.
Prayer – Lord please point out our divided areas and help us become people of integrity. Amen
