Intertwined Cracks

Our lives are intertwined. What you do or do not do, affects me. If you speed you might crash into me. If I don’t vote, the wrong person might get in to office. If your child is a bully, mine gets injured.

I was sitting in a classroom, minding my own business when some icky brown stuff spilled all over my workbooks. It wrecked my notes.  I couldn’t figure out where it came from or what it was. No matter, I still had to clean it up.

I discovered that someone on the floor above had spilled their coffee. It seeped through the cracks in the floor to accost me! Their mess became mine.

Thank God, who never lets anything slip through the cracks. I know this because the Bible tells me so!

God’s love is meteoric, his loyalty astronomic, His purpose titanic, and his verdicts oceanic.

Yet in his largeness, nothing gets lost; not a man, not a mouse, slips through the cracks. (Psalm 36:5-6)

Let’s pray for God to fix the cracks that wreck our lives and the lives of others.
