Shot putter Dylan Armstrong came in fourth at the 2008 Olympic Beijing games; only one centimeter behind the third place contestant. However, last August, that third place entry was disqualified for doping.
In February 2015, Dylan stood on a podium in front of a home town crowd Kamloops. B.C. to finally receive what was rightly his. He said “It just shows if you listen to your coach and you’re dedicated and you work hard, you can do it clean. I’m a prime example of that.”
Like Dylan, our rewards may be delayed. In fact, we might not see justice in our life time. However, we may be sure that when we get to heaven, all of that will be rectified.
Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Hebrews 11:6, NIV)
