Love to Cook

Since I love to cook, and love to eat and love Jesus even more, it makes perfect sense to me to combine all three here.

After all, the Bible says: and day after day they regularly assembled in the temple with united purpose, and in their homes they broke bread,[including the Lord’s Supper]. They partook of their food with gladness and simplicity and generous hearts.(Acts 2:46, AMP)

Do enjoy this dessert from my last cookbook, The Food Lovers Devotional.

Millionaire’s Pie

1-16oz. tin of crushed pineapple, drained

¼ cup lemon juice

1 cup finely chopped walnuts

1 tin condensed milk

1 small container frozen whipped topping

2 graham cracker pie crusts

Cherries and nuts for decoration

Combine all filling ingredients and divide between 2 pie crusts. Decorate with maraschino cherries and walnut halves if desired. Refrigerate until serving time. Options- Make ahead and freeze for that unexpected company.

Prayer- Lord thank you that you liked to eat too, maybe not Millionaire’s Pie here on earth but perhaps you had it earlier in heaven! Love from us, Lord. Amen.
