How does it happen? I think I am following the guidelines to post here or save there, but no, my computer posts an entirely new and very different attitude.
I think I am following clear directions, so it must be the computer, right? But what if it isn’t? What if the fault is me? What if people are not reading my scribbles because I subconsciously shoot myself in the foot/mouth every time? What if I am a master of causing my own trouble or I am the author of my own misfortune?
Just last week, every time I posted on my writing group blog, the article stuck in draft form or appeared on the wrong day or worse, or got lost forever.
So, I apologize and I blame it on my computer, everyone knows that we pushed the wrong button.
We cover for each other because it has happened to all of us. That’s all well and good for computers but when it comes to real life, I pray we do not cover for someone who is deep in a life sin. We will then be sinning with the sinner.
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. (Ephesians 5:11)
So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin. (James 4:17)
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. (Galatians 6:1)
Instead…I found myself in trouble and went looking for my Lord; my life was an open wound that wouldn’t heal. (Psalm 77:2)
