National Pickle Day

Oh boy! Are you ready? It’s national Pickle Day. The calendar doesn’t mention sweet, sour, dill or relish. That means we can celebrate our most favourite!  Is a sweet pickle eater kinder and sweeter than a dill pickle chewer? I have no idea.  I do know that some of us are sourer than we were a few months ago!

Our circumstances have overflowed into our lives, our brains and our attitudes. Some of us ignore the health news while others take the opposite approach and lock ourselves away in house and home.

Where is truth?

Someone recently posted this question on line. How do I define truth? The answer my friends, is not how do I define truth, but what is truth. Truth is not truth if it is decided by a majority. Truth is not truth just because your mother said so. Truth is the opposite of false. Truth is reality.

The Bible has much to say about truth and directly relates it to God. God is truth.

Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) is he who takes no offense at Me; finds no cause for stumbling in or through Me and is not hindered from seeing the Truth. (Matthew 11:6, AMPC)

Prayer- Lord we pray to know your truth and to walk in its freedom. Amen (From John 8:32)
