Brown sugar tends to dry out so here are so ideas to keep it moist. Be assured that I have tried most of them.
Keep it in an airtight container.
Cover it with a slice of white bread or marshmallows or even apple slices or a wet paper towel.
Grind up the lumps after they form.
And this is what I know. None of these are fool proof. The best way to keep brown sugar soft is to leave it in its original package and close it tightly after each use. Why? Because manufacturers know what’s best for their product.
Why do we second guess manufacturers who spend so much time and money on research to get their product to us safely?
God takes us in our original package as well. He takes what we are and works with it. Over time he processes us into a better version of us while leaving us in our original human package.
Our God knows what packaging we need. We may not like it. We keep trying to change its size, shape and colour, but it is what it is and it is good.
God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)
