Peace Stealers

I want to do it my way and be in charge.

I want it all, everything, no matter what others desire.

I want life to be all about me.

I am jealous in most areas of my life.

I don’t believe that God can meet my needs.

I don’t really trust God.

I am afraid I won’t get my share.

I might get laughed at.

I don’t know who God is and if he will love me.

I protect myself because I don’t trust God or others to do this for me.

Oh, must I keep on?

The key to peace is God. Ask God to show himself to you. Be still. Pray for clarity. Study and learn who God is. Examine your life in the light of scripture.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15, NIV)
