I’d composed a long business letter and was just ready to send it on by email. Just at that very second, my hydro went off. And of course, I hadn’t saved my work. My reaction was not pretty.

The thought came to me that we need salvation of many kinds…like saving your work to the computer hard drive!
You never know when the hydro killer bug will disappear and toss out everything you worked so hard for.
I believe that is also true of our end days, our day of salvation. Are you saved to God’s hard drive, written into his book of life?
Jesus said, “So, you believe because you’ve seen with your own eyes. Even better blessings are in store for those who believe without seeing.” Jesus provided far more God-revealing signs that are written down in this book. These are written down so you will believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and in the act of believing, have real and eternal life in the way he personally revealed it. (John 20:29-31, MSG)
Prayer- Dear Lord, give us the common sense to prepare for the day when ‘the hydro goes off’ in our lives; the day we must meet you face to face and find out where our name is in your Book of Life. Amen.
